This 6mm Creedmoor barreled action pairs a Pristine Short Action Lightweight with a 22" light contour 416R stainless barrel. It’s assembled and tested by hand in our Fort Macleod, Alberta shop and in stock now. Drop it in your stock, add your trigger, and get to the range or the field.
One rifle for a lot of jobs
This build sits in the middle ground. It’s handier than a heavy-barrel range gun but still has enough barrel to stay steady and shoot well. The 22" light contour, finishing at 0.750" at the muzzle, keeps the rifle easy to carry and quick to handle, and the barreled action comes in at 4 lbs. 15 oz. That makes it a good fit for hunting season, a day at the range, or a rifle you don’t want to have to choose between the two. Paired with the 6mm Creedmoor’s mild recoil, it’s a comfortable rifle to shoot a lot of.
Accuracy testing in progress
We’d rather show you a target than make a claim, so we’re not putting an accuracy number on this one until we’ve tested it ourselves. Once we’ve shot it, we’ll post the target, the ammo, and the full test setup here, same as we do with our other builds.
Room to build
Pristine actions are Remington 700 aftermarket compatible, so your stock, trigger, and bottom metal options stay wide open. The two-lug bolt with interchangeable bolt heads lets you change bolt faces later without replacing the action.
